The Taranaki Outreach Team, under the guidance of Regional Manager Dawn Colless, alongside Team Leaders Sarah Morris and Karla Gibson, is dedicated to nurturing and empowering our highly skilled Specialist Teachers across the Taranaki Mounga region.
Aligned with the Arahunga values of Tu Rangatira, He Tangata, Mana Tangata, and Whanaungatanga, we collaborate as a leadership team to embody these principles in our daily practices.
Drawing from our diverse strengths and extensive experience, we prioritise cultivating strong relationships within our region's teaching community. Through mentoring, guidance, and modelling, we support educational teams in tailoring bespoke solutions in their Kura for our students. Our focus remains steadfast on student-centred, strengths-based, and inclusive approaches, aiming to empower our Äkonga to be active, connected, and confident contributors to their community.
