Our Arahunga vision is: Empowering learners to be active, connected and confident in their community.
Empowering is a key word in our vision statement. At Arahunga School this means giving our learners a voice and control in their own learning journey. We aim to give learners the support they need to make their own choices, achieve their full potential and to live good lives.
We want our learners to be:
Active - Participate fully.
Connected - Meaningful and authentic relationships.
Confident - Confidently make choices and build good lives.
Each of our learners has their own unique community that surrounds and supports them. Our vision is that we empower our learners to be active, confident and connected in their own community.
Although identified separately our values are intertwined and embedded into our daily practice for both our learners and teachers. Our values provide the direction for everything that happens at Arahunga School.
